Our Faculty Advisory Board Meeting Was Held

Our Faculty Advisory Board Meeting was held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, with the Deputy Dean of our Faculty Prof. Dr. The meeting was chaired by Serap PALAZ ÇAKIR. To the meeting; TUIK Regional Manager Taner TEKELİ, Bandırma Chamber of Commerce President of the Assembly Bahadır ÇENBERCİ, Bandırma Commodity Exchange Council President İsmail TUNÇBİLEK, Bandırma City Council President Serdar POLAT Bandırma Red Crescent Branch President Halil ÖZÜMÜT, Muslubaşlar A.Ş Osman MUSLUBAŞ, Bandırma Sports Representative Special AYDIN, S.M. Consultant İhsan ŞEN, BEST A.Ş. Human Resources and Industrial Relations Manager İsmail Orhan SÖNMEZ, Assistant Dean Assoc. Dr. Bülent ARPAT and our Faculty Secretary Emel GÜLTEKİN.

After the Advisory Board Directive was introduced to the meeting, İsmail Orhan SÖNMEZ was elected as the rapporteur among the Advisory Board Members.

At the meeting, joint work and cooperation opportunities were discussed in order to ensure the scientific, social and cultural development of our students, and suggestions on the 2022-2023 academic year curriculum were discussed.

In addition, conferences, seminars, panels, etc., where students meet with the business world. organizing events, activities focused on improving students' English language, Turkish/English presentation and communication skills, clubs (especially speaking clubs, etc.), seminars, panels, conferences, etc. Activities that can be done on issues such as organizing activities, encouraging students to become NGO memberships by communicating with NGOs, increasing human and social skills through volunteering activities were discussed.
