A Ceremony was Held in Bandırma Republic Square for 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day

A ceremony was held in Bandırma as well as all over the country on the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day. Held in Cumhuriyet Square and representing our University, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. In the ceremony attended by Alpaslan Serel, Bandırma District Governor Engin Aksakal, Bandırma Mayor Atty. Tolga Tosun, District Director of National Education Mutlu Aslan, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations, students and citizens attended.
At the ceremony, which started with a moment of silence and the singing of the Turkish National Anthem, a wreath was laid on the Atatürk monument by the District Director of National Education Mutlu Aslan, and then a speech was made stating the meaning and importance of the day. The ceremony continued with the poems and dance performances of the students studying in Bandırma.
