Our Vocational School of Health Services Graduation Ceremony Was Held with Great Enthusiasm

The graduation ceremony of our Vocational School of Health Services was held with great enthusiasm at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall. Hosted by the Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, Dr. Fatma Nur Yılmaz, the ceremony was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erçakar, our Secretary General Faruk Küçük, our academic and administrative staff, members of the press, our students, and their esteemed families.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence followed by the Turkish National Anthem. Afterwards, the University's promotional video was presented. Students from the Physiotherapy, Opticianry, Social Services, and Medical Imaging Techniques programs then took part in the traditional graduation procession.

Following the procession, the Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, Dr. Fatma Nur Yılmaz, delivered the opening speech, congratulating the graduates and wishing them success in their professional careers. Our Rector, Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, also congratulated the graduates and expressed his best wishes for their future.

After the protocol speeches, Hafsa Koçoğlu, the Physiotherapy Program student who graduated as the valedictorian of the Vocational School of Health Services for the 2025–2026 Academic Year, performed the traditional plaque-nailing ceremony at the graduation memorial board on behalf of all graduates. She then shared her joy and pride with the audience in a heartfelt speech.

The ceremony continued with the presentation of certificates of achievement and awards to the top-ranking students. Hafsa Koçoğlu, who graduated first overall, received her award from our Rector, Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz. Aleyna Ocak, the Social Services Program student who ranked second overall, received her award from our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu, while Kübra Güzel, the Opticianry Program student who ranked third overall, received her award from our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erçakar.

Following the overall awards, certificates of achievement were presented to the top-ranking students in each program.

In the Physiotherapy Program, Hafsa Koçoğlu ranked first, Dorukhan Yıldıran second, and Ebrar Sılınçarslan third. Their certificates were presented by the Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, Dr. Fatma Nur Yılmaz.

In the Opticianry Program, Kübra Güzel ranked first and İrem Uçar ranked second. Their certificates were presented by our Secretary General, Faruk Küçük.

In the Medical Imaging Techniques Program, İlayda Özaydın ranked first, Fatma Canan Orbey second, and Nida Gökmen third. Their certificates were presented by the Vice Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, Prof. Dr. Nilay Ildız.

In the Social Services Program, Aleyna Ocak ranked first, Zinnur Gülşen second, and Elif Uslu third. Their certificates were presented by the Vice Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, Lect. Ayşegül Demir Sarıipek.

Following the presentation of achievement certificates, commemorative graduation certificates were presented to all graduates by the academic and administrative staff of the Vocational School of Health Services.

The graduation ceremony concluded with a group photograph and the traditional cap-tossing celebration. We sincerely congratulate all our graduates who have successfully completed their programs and are now taking their first steps into professional life in the healthcare sector. We wish them every success, happiness, and good health in this new chapter of their lives.
